The project suggests the bringing back of natural historic elements such as waterways, topography and tropical rainforest eco-habitats to facilitate an intimate relationship with the wilderness while creating an interplay with its magnificently articulated man-made landscapes. It seeks to blur the boundaries between natural and man-made and redefine the relationship of high-dense urban development to nature. The landscape hence developed forms an archetype that intensifies the use of land through high-density housing but also serves as a productive, self-sustaining future for Singapore.
